How old can a child start?

From 3 years old. Anyone who can read, write and recognise numbers 0-9 and letters A-Z.

How long has Innovate Education Australia been established?

Innovate Education has been operating since July 2015.

How many students are there in a class?

Less than 12 students.

Are the teachers qualified?

Our teachers have to go through a professional teacher’s training in order to be qualified as our teacher.

What is your teaching method? Is it one-on-one?

It is seen as a group class. However, in the classroom the teacher will teach one-on-one according to the student’s individual pace via our customised lesson plan.

What teaching technique do you use?

Abacus Mental Arithmetic Program
We use 2-hand abacus system incorporating mental arithmetic with multimedia and music in class. We guide a child from scratch until they master the techniques.

Mind Program
Visualisation, Auditory, Kinesthetic & Imagination to build memory retention skills.

Which country does Innovate program originate from?

Abacus originated from China and was invented more than 3,000 years ago. Innovate teaching technique was researched and developed in Malaysia, and was formally registered in 2011.

What are you teaching materials?

Our teaching materials are produced by Innovate International, Malaysia.

How many books to be used by a student to complete the course?

Estimated more than 60 books.

How many levels are there altogether?

Basic, Levels 1 – 10 and Super Level. Total: 12 levels.

Isn’t your fee too expensive?

We provide and deliver quality teaching and result, which is not achievable by others. Moreover, our fee allow the usage of free books and online practice.

When will my child learn the multiplication/division skills?

If your child is in primary class, they usually start learning ‘multiplication’ skill after a year, depending on their learning pace and regular completion of homework.

How long should my child learn?

There is no short-cut to master a skill. If your child is 6 years old or below: invest about 4-5 years. If 7 years old and above: invest 3 years in learning Innovate for your child. It will definitely benefit your child’s life. How soon your child complete the program greatly depends on their learning pace and completion of homework given.

Must I invest my child for 3 years?

You have an option, whether 2 years or a year. It is up to parents to decide. There are students who have learnt for more than 3 years in order to reach Super Level.

By learning mental arithmetic, can a child be confused with school mathematics?

No. There are many methods to calculate mathematics. For example: school method, finger calculation, using the calculator, abacus arithmetic etc. The child should follow the school mathematics in school. Abacus mental arithmetic is another method. They must master the formulae first. Once he/she is ready, then he/she can use this method to do cross-checking for the school mathematics.

How can INNOVATE help a child’s school learning progress?

One can feel and see the difference between a child that learns INNOVATE and a child that doesn’t. By learning INNOVATE, the child can enhance his mathematical skill. Besides this, he can also enhance his memory, concentration, thinking skill, flexibility, observation skill and increase his IQ and EQ. INNOVATE can help to stimulate the 4 senses simultaneously i.e. visual, hearing, touch and imagination.

How do you combine a kindergarten student and older students in one class?

Although they are in the same class, however they will have separate learning materials. We teach them according to their individual level of progress.

Can you assure that student will learn and understand if they attend class here?

Yes! Definitely.
